How to help

About ACE PMO

Families working together for ACE students

ACE Parent Master Organization is an Illinois not-for-profit corporation and a 501(c)(3) public charity. We raise money and organize opportunities that help ACE Taekwondo students grow on and off the mat.

Why we exist

ACE PMO started with a simple idea: ACE families volunteering together to help with school events.

Then came our students' first international trip to Korea, and with it the need to raise money to help them get there. That first fundraiser was a success, and it showed us how much more we could do for our students as an official charity.

In 2025, we incorporated as a nonprofit and became a 501(c)(3) charity. Now families, local businesses, and the wider community can support ACE students with tax-deductible gifts, and we can help in bigger ways through travel, competition, scholarships, leadership, and service.

Our mission

The mission of the ACE Parent Master Organization is to support and enhance the Taekwondo program by fostering a collaborative environment between parents, students, and instructors. We are committed to promoting the values of discipline, respect, and perseverance that are central to Taekwondo.

Through active engagement and community involvement, we aim to provide resources and opportunities that enrich the learning experience and encourage personal growth for all participants. Our goal is to build a strong, supportive community that upholds the principles of Taekwondo and inspires excellence both on and off the mat.

Our purpose

ACE Parent Master Organization is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our primary purpose is to support and enhance the Taekwondo program by fostering collaboration among parents, students, and instructors, and to promote the values of discipline, respect, and perseverance that are central to Taekwondo.

What we support

  • Cultural experiences and travel
  • Tournament and competition costs
  • Scholarships
  • Leadership and community service
